“Azul” 
fue uno de los libros que siendo yo adolescente, casi niño, leí con mayor placer. Ahora, al releerlo, me doy cuenta de hasta qué punto, y durante muchos años, han perdurado en mi memoria imágenes, combinaciones sugerentes y raras de palabras, y lo que es más importante, ideas estéticas o secretos hábitos de comportamiento ante la literatura y la sociedad.
«Azul…» es un libro que actúa como un sueño. Nos olvidamos de detalles, de episodios, del lugar que nosotros ocupábamos en el nuevo orden creado con los elementos extraídos más o menos de la realidad.
Pero nos queda siempre la impresión que, por más débil que sea, nos advierte de que algo nuevo ha ocurrido dentro de nosotros, y que nos enriquece, casi, sin que lo sintamos.
